We had one we pulled loaded log trailers out of the woods with, but the tires weren't that tall. It would go in the mud better than any truck I've ever seen.

That's sick. Definitely something you don't see everyday. You might have a chance racing a train if you wanted to haha

It isn't fast, but after having it at 65mph, I'm not sure I would want to go much faster anyway... Those tires are supposed to be 55mph max speed.

I would like to try it out in the mud, but after spending a whole day cleaning it, I doubt it will be off road.
May try it out in the snow this winter if I can do it before they start using any salt.

Lol I got parts for you. Need anything let me know man. That's a hell of a truck, I've always said everyone needs at least one 6x6

Is that a marine truck with all low lock? Lockers in all axles it won't stop for anything. May have to start a pic thread for mv's

Small world... I join a military forum & see people from here.

No lockers that I know of...
I'd take a few spare lockers if you know of any...lol.

Have not researched where the truck came from yet.

I do need some small item, I'll be in touch.

They are 5 ton rockwells.... Thought it was a 6.44.
Still learning... been reading everything i can find.

I'm assuming they will not be

6.72 in ours 6.44 are also out there, I text him on his lockers they have lock outs so you can disengage and turn easier on road. Let you know what he says, he offered them to me for 300-400 i believe

It's not power steering correct? With your fab skills a hydro steering system would be easy

On edit 5 tons are 6.44 just went out and looked at one with tags

That's the problem with the mv hobby. The trucks can be picked up cheap but there is so much shit to do to them

I haven't payed more than 3k for a truck and less than 300 for trailers. Parts wise watch govt liquidation they have lots of parts that sell cheap. Careful though that site can bite you in the beginning me and pops had 12 dueces restored and sold them but it was a lot of work. Also rebuilt this
