Ok thought I'd do this right so here is my introduction and I want to start a thread of my own yet, Build or whatever you wanna call it.. Anyway I was on duramax forum for a couple years and then quit for 6 months or so and now wanna get back on and decided this one was better.. Love the duramax and this is my second one and have owned it since middle of '11.. First one was an lbz bought brand new.. Looking forward to catching up on some of yalls threads..

I'm new to the duramax. I have to admit I've always been a dodge fan and always dreamed of a Cummings. I've drove a bunch of them. I few of my buddies have duramax and always busted my ass. Do one day looking for a new trk there sat a 2008 gmc 2500 duramax well I took it for a test drive and drove it home the next day. Wow power wise it kicked the Cummings ass. Surprisingly I knew the last owner meet him one day and he said what's that on the tailpipe I said no idea. Comes to find out he had it deleted and straight piped. The dealer put a used system back on including the egr. A month after that it stopped running. Had it to 3 places including gmc no one could figure it out piped a hole in dpf ran for 2 days cut muffler off ran for 2 days finialy found a good diesel guy at monroe he had it figured out in 10 mins in the parking lot it was the egr siliniod so ran great till it wanted to regen and it wouldn't b cb of th e hole in dpf so efi live fixed that now run like the Cummings killer that it is
