Soooo I have a 2004.5 gmc 2500 with a few miles on it 270k to be exact haha. Since I purchased it over a year and a half ago it has mad this noise. The noise only happens once I have been freeway driving then stop and go. It lasts for almost 1 second every time at 1200 rpm. The sound is like a belt but I fear it's turbo related. The power is still great and no excessive fuel consumption. Any ideas? I'm over seas right now and would like to drive my truck in confidence when I get home haha.

What type of noise? A squeak, squeal? Might want to check the idler and tensioner pulleys. They are a wear item.
