Hey all. I'm new to the forum but I've had my truck for a couple years now with NO problems. 05 Silverado 2500 HD, LLY basically stock with Allison tranny. I did put on new rims and tires and Banks intake with power scoop.
I towed my wife's Montero on a 16 steel bed car hauler from San Diego to Texas and this thing didn't even burp. I was amazed that I averaged 16.5 mpg with the tow. Now I average 17.5 driving back and forth to Houston.
Like I said, I've had ZERO problems with this truck and I won't buy anything else. No pics yet, I'll upload soon.
I want to improve the mpg so I'll look through the forum for ideas and advice.
