New to EFI....have questions....please help

Hi

Noob to EFI. Understand download/upload.

1. I tried to load Neens tow tune for my OS. It says something about 1kb? and mine is only 512k?? What this mean?

2. On my dashboard, I tried to add gauges, specifically actual fuel pressure in place of barometric pressure, it displays the actual fuel pressure but still says barometric. How to change to say actual, on my desired pressure it says it.

3. I also have another tune from a programmer. When I look at those tables the only parameters changed are the throttle based injection quantity. On another diesel forum I asked this same question and was ignored. Can someone here explain if what Im seeing is actual. Its a 135hp tune but no timing adjustments made to this tune. Does this mean the timing is stock, when I compare it to my stock LB7 tune the only thing changed IS the TBI quantity.

Thats weird...All of my LB7 tunes are in the 359-390KB range.

Right click the gauge you want to change, Left click gauge properties, Left click the drop down menu to make sure you have selected the correct parameter. Click on "Title" and type in the name you want displayed.

If you compared your stock tune to the modified tune and thats all it shows being changed....then thats all the tuner did. Which would be weird for a 135HP tune to just have the TBI as the only change. I'd have to say the tune is not making 435HP with just the TBI modified.

were you looking at the history tab to see what was changed or did you actually compare the modified tune to your stock tune. Some tuners clear the history when they send the tune out.
