Picked up a new to us dmax, our first diesel. 01 3500, fully loaded, titan 52 gal tank, Firestone airbags, 2 added leafs, adjustable rear shocks, class 5 hitch, banks wastegate, egg/boost gauges in A pillar, LB7 motor, one owner, dealer serviced, ranch truck, 3400 hours on engine and 126,000 miles. Stole it for 10,300 + TTL in DFW, Texas.

Dad is the driver and I am the crew chief. We just sold the camaro, and are nearly done with our dragster. Camaro was 2950 and went 5.30/128 and 8.56@155. Dragster will be about 1000# less.

Clean pickup, good buy if ya ask me. And welcome:thumb:
The salesman said it was a dealer employee's parent's ranch truck. Low miles for a diesel, good condition, everything checked out. We spent 2 hours combing the thing over looking for any imperfection we could find.

All we saw at the lot was the class 5 hitch, A-pillar gauges, and the holes in the bed, we figured for a 5th wheel, so we made an offer and the dealer took it. Then, I crawled back under and noticed the air bags.

Got it home and I started crawling under it. Noticed the tank said "Titan" on it with a P/N, turns out to be a 52 gallon tank (and the dealer filled it for us! Probably didn't even notice the gas indicator on the pump...seeing as stock is 39 gallons?). Then noticed the shocks had knobs on them- Rancho RS9000's.

Took it to a friend's shop that sells truck stuff, so we could put a sleeve in to reduce the hitch from 2.5" to 2". I ask him about the holes in the bed, he pulls out some documentation, turns out they're for a hay spike.

Took it out to dinner the other night, and I had more legroom in the back seat of the extended cab, than in the 2011 ram quad cab. Go figure.

On the way back, mom's digging through the console and glove box, and finds some Banks Engineering paperwork. Turns out it has a banks wastegate.

Every corner we turn, it has something to make it better.

Yet it still only has sport mirrors, not trailer mirrors. -dumbfounded-

Our trailer is on order from Cargo Mate, similar to this one- 32 x 102" x 7.5 , 37 feet tip to tip with Triple 6K axles, whole trailer is pro-rated to 15,000 pounds with hydraulic jack. The sticker on the truck is 11,400, so techincally we'll need a recreation CDL since the GVCWR will be 26,400 ... 401 pounds over the limit.
