Hi folks - New to board, and diesels in general. I just picked up a '13 GMC SLT 3500HD...Im loving the vehicle!

I had a local diesel guru check it out - the mechanic is very knowledgeable, and checked all the common and not so common ODB accessible diagnostic values, both running and engineoff, as well as hooking up some vacuum gauges to check various important metrics.

Based on that very in depth engine/fuel system/emissions systems review, the motor is in great great shape. We were both surprised at how strong/great shape the motor is in, even though it has 154k miles on it. It's worth putting an AirDog on it, I think.

I will use it to haul and pull loads from 2k-12k.

I am curious - what should I keep in the truck, to be sure I have what I need

1) Dexcool
2) Water-in-Fuel drain plug wrench
3) ???
