New to diesel and forums, need advice!

Hello everyone, I am a diesel rookie as I just bought my 06 lbz less than a month ago. I did much research before buying it and looked long and hard for what I believe to be the best diesel out there, the lbz. It's a beautiful truck with a nice lift and 35's, I love the truck so much and plan on keeping it forever till the wheels fall off! Here is the problem... last Saturday an idiot kid made a left turn in front of me as I was going thru a yellow light and I t-boned him! My whole front end is pretty smashed up and I'm totally pissed since he lied to the cops and said I ran a red light. No witnesses so it's my word against his and now my ins is gonna have to pay to fix my truck.
Anyway my question is should I take my truck to a Chevy dealership to have it fixed or would another collision repair shop with really good reviews be able to fix it just as well? I only want the absolute best repair for my truck and I don't know enough about diesels to make that decision.
Sorry for the novel but any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Just body work? Then take it to a good body shop.

It will need a whole new front end, fenders, hood, radiator and fans, transmission cooler, intake, ect. It was still running after the accident and the tow truck started it up and reversed it too pull it off the car I hit and I'm hoping the turbo didn't suck anything up.

Look down the main forum page to the "Arizona Diesel Club". There are a lot of guys from the Phoenix area, and they'd probably know a of good body shop that you can take your truck to.

Hopefully the frame didn't get touched. Some insurance company's will cut you a check for the total damage if you want to fix it yourself. Can make a few bucks doing that.

That one looks like an easy fix. Have the shop paint the hood and fender and put it all together yourself and save the rest for some upgrades!
Maybe time to upgrade the grill bumper and hood lol

The pic doesn't look to bad... I have had a lot of experience with body shops in the past with past vehicles. the advise I can offer is to call the body shops and make sure they use oem parts or something of the sorts. most body shops will use aftermarket parts and 99% of the time and they fit like shit. Do your homework on the shops and keep after them when you finally take it to one. And CHECK their work!! I had an S2000 and it got t-boned.... took it to the 5 star body shop my insurance company recommended me to go to, they said if I took it their they'd guarantee their work for 5 years. Needless to say I took it there.... long story short, they had to replace an upper control arm on it, I got it back and it had a funny clunk in the front when I would hit a bump or curb, checked the arm and the bolts weren't even finger tight.... found this after doing 130+ down the highway
