Got me a new sump my buddy Andrew (Adeso) made for me!!

Think it looks pretty damn good. Mine is even personalized, cause he is such a nice guy.

Does anyone know if you can buy a new fitting for the CP3 for 1/2" line. I planned on just using 1/2" all the way to the engine bay and use about 6" of 3/8" to finish it off.

Here is some pics of my new toy I get to put in this weekend. I just need to cut the inside ring in half so I don't have to drop the tank to put it in.

looks good. I dont think there is room to get a 1/2" fitting, hose, and clamp on the cp3. Pretty tight

If I really bump up production and don't do anything else I can maybe make 1 per 5 weeks.... I just have some old stuff (1950s era) lathe and mill and make a few things just to keep me out of trouble on the weekends. Once I go to Minot ND this winter (since there will be so much to do then) I can make a few things every now and then but not in it for the money or want to get into selling stuff. This is a hobby and will stay that way lol.
I could do some small work for guys on here-but it can't have a time line on it. for all I know if country X starts getting frisky I could be gone for a while. I do stuff just to teach myself how to make parts.

Heh.... most people dont actually understand the full process that goes into making a production of something, like a sump.

Nice touch on the personalization ;)

yeah Matt....I tried to get one of yours long ago, but you were sold out.

Production work sucks for sure....so much time and energy involved.

Me and Andy talked about this for awhile....mine is V2....V3 will be much better. Not that mine isnt good or wont work. But ya gotta start somewhere, and the distance between us doesn't help convey ideas or what each of us "think" is the right idea.

Yea no joke-the startup cost isn't cheap with this stuff. I got my hands on some old machinery (back when the flag didn't have 50 stares on it and they had no idea what CNC was) so there is 0 chance I can go into production. Make a few parts here and there for fun. If you looked at it from a fiscal standpoint most of the time it would be better for me to just buy the part, but where is the fun in that :woott:

It is nice when you have that odd part you just can't find what you want, you just go make it. Or try to make it 5 times before you actually make it. At least it will give me something to do in ND besides drink and thing about how much ND sucks

Sean I'll send you that first attempt if you want it-but I think it might be better used as a neat looking cup holder....

Well after doing some searching, seems everyone says it is a M12 x 1.5 fitting.

Parker makes some, but haven't came up with anyone who carries them lol. Or anywhere to order them.

Seems they make 2, one for 3/8" and one for 1/2" hose....

I don't have a Parker store really that close to me. So if someone could pick me one of each up, I'd throw ya a few bucks.

I can get them at home but I'm still in Idaho... I searched that part number and several online places popped up. It might be easier just to order some.
