Wherever I am working
Ok, so I'm finally able to pony up the coin for a GMAX 6-3 kit and a converter. The converter I'm choosing is an -ML-G hd stator. Going to also go with All Season's super high flow big air kit. Going to go with new tuning as well and a dsp5.

Other things in the works is a little front suspension work that needs to take place and working on a twin kit. I chose the super high flow kit because of the egr delete and the bridge package to meet the needs of the twin set up as well as future plans for a big single. I've waited three years to make all this happen, so to say I'm stoked about this is an understatement. :)

I'm also going to do some audio stuff: Pioneer AppRadio, Infinity speakers in doors, Infinity amp, Infinity powered sub.

Hoping to put 20" TIS Monster Energy and Nitto 420s on as well.

I'll post some pics as I come along with it.

Suspension, air flow, GMAX 6-3 and ML-G hd from AllSeason. Ordering a lock up from Ben. Tuning from Bob.

Anybody know of a set of four stock steel wheels or PYOs for sale? Don't want any tires cuz they'll be used for racing with either drag radials or slicks.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy about it all. The great thing about it is my wife is excited about it too. She knows how I enjoy this stuff and kinda gets into it too. Honesty is best policy! Lol. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to throw a little more into the piping and bling it with powder coat or leave it raw and spend the money on something else like cal tracks and drop shackles. Opinions would appreciated. I know what I will do if I powder coat. It will be a two layer coat. Cobalt blue on top of chrome. I've seen this type of effect on another truck's delete pipe and it bad ass. Kinda makes a translucent effect to the top color.

Here are some pics of the old and new. Now I know for some of you guys this is old hat type of stuff. However, as I stated before this is exciting for me. This is All Season's Big Air kit with the down pipe and y-bridge. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1343676402.737140.jpg
Everybody knows what that is ...

Egr delete and hot charge pipe

Everything back together up top. Now it's just the oil drain (turbo) and the two uppipes and the downpipe.

The truck is running again. There are a few things that need tidying up, but for the most part the engine stuff is done.

Tuning is awesome! Thanks Bob. I especially like how quiet this thing idles, the smoothness of the power all the way through the rpm (no matter what tune its on), and the crisp shifts. No flares in the shifting from tune to tune. I'm not at all used to these things with the previous tuning.
Tony's super high flow is awesome as well. The truck sounds very good and I notice spool is more efficient. I can actually hear the compressor as well.

To be honest, this is a totally different truck I'm driving now and I'm quite twitterpated. Now comes the Trans on the 11th or 12th of August. Can't wait for that to happen, and hopefully I won't have to buy tires before then!
