New SoCal Duramax guy

Hi All,

I've been looking to buy a new Pontiac G8 and ended up buying a new 08 Silverado instead. Thanks to GM for all the incentives, I was able to buy a great truck instead!

Looking forward to learning more about diesels and looks like a great site to find information about the duramax. I've been using EFI Live since it came out on my LS1's but have no clue about tuning these oil burners. I'm sure I be able to pick up quite a few tips on this site.

Yeah, it's VERY easy to turn up the Dmaxes.

Probably the average HP of the members on this site is over 500rwhp.

Feel free to ask lots of questions, or do searches. This is the home of the Dmax hotrodders, and we can answer most all performance questions, except "why race a pickup".
