I have a new set of issues now, again.

I reflashed the ECM back to my stock tune. ALL of my codes went away!:D

But... I still have no reverse and D will not go very far before it stops. I just replaced the NSBU switch, could I have a bad one out of the box?? -Jeff

I dont think so, everything looks ok, the NSBU did go on kind of hard, but I am pretty sure that I got it on correctly, I used the little metal alignment tool to keep the hashmarks where they were supposed to be, and the trans was in neutral.

Ok, I pushed it out of the shop, cause there is no reverse, drove it a bit and the SES light came on, still no Reverse, and it seems that the trans is stuck in 2nd? It gave me a P0746 code and P0700 code. Any ideas?

P0746 is A trim solenoid not active probably because of a voltage problem. One of your voltage readings was 9 volts. That's not right.

it was the orange black wire on the gray plug of the NSBU, I am not sure where that wire originates, it wasnt on the Diagram that you sent me.

Sorry to hijack, but how do you go about fixing/replacing connectors on the nsbu? I absolutely could not get the top plug off of the switch at all. I gave up and pulled the switch off. I had to do the same thing the last time I pulled the tranny. I am dreading my switch ever going bad b/c I know the connector will break before coming off.

I heated my plug up with a heat gun, not too long but kept going back and forth and she finally came out. I believe Mike told me to do this when I pulled the trans.

Per the Service Advisor: "Well the lift we need to put it on is all tied up, so we wont be able to get it in till monday (all they are supposedly doing is reading the codes), but there is an off chance that we will get to it this afternoon.......")

I am not holding my breath on hearing anything until monday afternoon. -Jeff

they did squeeze me in, but that is gonna cost me $95 to tell me something I already know (the codes) Then they need to figure out what the problem actually is....

I just got the call, apparently this morning when he went out to move it into the shop it shifted fine, forward and reverse. but the SES light is still on and they are still getting P0746 and now a P0731 code. There was a leak between the trans and transfer case, they are going to fix that and try it again, they think there might be a bad Vehicle Speed Sensor on the tailshaft, a bearing of some sort? Does anyone have any input? -Jeff

The speed sensor is on the transfer case. That will not cause a p0731 which is first gear incorrect ratio, meaning bad C1 clutch. Something is fishy here. Why let them fix the tranfercase leak if the Alli might have to come out? double labor if it does.
