Got back to the track tonight.

8.4 @ 82

Sum it up, $4000 tranny, $250 of new tuning, got me .1 1/10th and 2 MPH :spit:

Previous best was a 8.5 @ 80.

Changes are the tranny built, new tuning, and all tires air pressure lowered.

I'm really disappointed, feels like my rail pressure is dropping through 3rd gear. I haven't had a chance to check my logs.

Airdog II is on its way though.

Video coming in the morning.

I'm going through my logs. My converter is locking until 3rd gear. Is this normal?

What tables determine when it locks?

might want to look into a lockup controller or use T/H or modufy your TCM

I need to do the same

I use T/H every run.

Man, I hope I don't have the dreaded lockup issues...

Logs shows it's locking around 47MPH...

Should I have to tune the TCM to get it to lock correct? From all the reading seems don't touch the TCM if you like your trans to stay in one piece.

Not sure what the dreaded lock up issues are?

You can change the lockup in the TCM i dont think thats going to hurt
However there is only a certain amount you can do with EFI

As far as TCMs Ive gottom away with alot...its when you get into shift timing that you can hurt the trans if you dont know what your doing
IMO what ever GM does you can do:) Take the time to learn the shift and you will be allright adjusting the TCM JMHO

Ill never turn the defuel off though;)
