Sounds like a job for Tommy
i need to come see you mike
Not in this case. Tommy has one of my stage 4's and I need to find out if these new clutches will hold as well as a stage 3. Think Jason might be a better test.
i left a message with ya. I may be buried in my truck tomorrow. i have a clunk to diagnose and then i will hopefully be tearing into my truck for the injectors.
You can call me at 714-423-7204. I however prefer to talk in person so if i geta chance i wanna cruise down to you.
mike the dual sided c-1's, are there equal amount of clutch/steels as the alto single c-1's?
There are 6 frictions like the stock setup only with a thick apply plate which is the key. The apply piston does not center itself on the clutch pack and only allows 1/2 the clutches to bite down because of bowing. The thick apply plate evens out the apply force and gives you abot 85% or better clamping force.
Raybestos feels their C1 setup is better than Alto's. Time and testing will tell.
