New puller need info

I have a pull on friday and never pulled with my duramax. The track is hard black dirt. What gear do I pull in and what range . Do I manuel shift it or put it in gear and go. The truck is pretty stock with a six inch lift. Will the stock tie rods make it. Thanks for any info on the subject

I would not pull without tie rod sleeves. I'd stick her in 3rd gear, 4x low. You could always clamp some rebar to your tierods for awhile. I didn't think it would be a good idea till I found out a strong truck in my neck of the woods did it for a few years

tie rod sleeves are a must have 4 low 3rd gear sounds good though

Ordered a set of PPE sleeves from alligator performance hope they get here by thursday and there easy to install

Yeah that was definitely a good idea to order sleeves. Chad should have it there by thursday. He's really good about shipping
