So today I towed home a new project a 2001 Chevy cc/sb duramax 4x4 with 170k miles on it plan is to turn it into a fun reliable play truck with the ability to take to the track. So about the truck truck was rolled hard on passenger side from the firewall back the body is not salvageable but hood is in touched and truck started right up and drives. So for body I have located a regular cab close by i am going to go check out next weekend as far as bed Iam undecided on short bed or long bed what's best for racing? Short bed weights less but seems like more people are running long beds. And when I get to it I'll post some pictures up because now its nothing to look at besides a pile of scrap. :rofl:
