Nitto website says they are mountain snowflake rated tires, but they don't have ratings on them listed yet. A tire like that won't get a ton of miles, but can't be any worse than other tires like the bfg a/t and the duratracs (that also carry the snowflake symbol)
I'm sure they will wear better than these cooper stt's.
The terra grapplers don't wear bad I thought? My friend runs them on his half ton gmc's and gets 30+k out of em
They look like the toyo at2 extreme. I had a set of the Toyos and they wear like concrete. It's my understanding that the nittos are made of a softer compound than the Toyo's even though thy are both made by the same manufacturer...
How did the toyo's wear? I'm wanting something that digs when I need them to but wears better. These coopers are 310 a peice and only last 20k miles depending on how far I have to travel on shit roads to get to the rig.
I run the coopers because they are aggressive and are at least 40 bucks a peice cheaper than most tire but I'm loosing money buying two sets a yr. I'm not in the mud hardly ever anymore but when we do have a shitty location I want to go and not spin mud all over my truck. OP let us know how these wear I might buy a set after this new set wears out.

I have always run toyo mt's they wear like Michelins. The at extremes seemed even tougher, however they were not the best at hooking up, but without 550 plus I'd bet they're fine... Lol...
