Hey guys, name is Nick. Got a 03 2500 6.6l duramax. 170k

I came here because I'm in dire need of help! My truck won't start. Turn the key on, it's got power. All the lights turn on but as soon as you try to start it all the lights go off, the gauges go to 0 and it doesn't do anything. The Service 4wd is flashing. Not sure what it could be. Any ideas?

Only code it threw was a p0540 which is this air intake heater circuit. Truck was running just fine, shut it off and then nothing. It was a daily driver to work and back. Batteries may not be good, we have a charge on it now. Been charging since 4. I'm sorry I didn't give more info it was really all I had at the time.

We pulled the glow plugs out to do a compression test. And it ran just fine before that.

You might want to also take a look at the glow plug module. I had one of the relays stick on me and completely drained my batteries (0.5 volts). Keep us posted on what you find.

Make sure cables are tight to batteries..hopefully its something simple. Sometimes loose grounds can do strange things with the electronics

Sounds like a bad battery or connection. But who knows with the electronics on these damn things.
