New MBRP downpipe!!!

for those of you that haven't seen it yet. MBRP has finally released their own Duramax LLY,LBZ, LMM downpipe. also, it's ceramic coated and doesn't need to be wrapped, unless you wanna be extra safe then wrap it up . also it's thicker than the DE one as well.

it's a super nice piece and really easy to install. i actually dropped mine in from the top. oh and no dip stick troubles!

so far i've noticed a deeper V8 sound on the top end, about a 50* drop in EGTs and faster dropping EGTs after acceleration.

ha not sure but i didn't have to bend it or anything. it's pretty close but after driving with it for the past week it's not harming it at all.

and I am like you I would wrap it anyway as I even wrapped the front pipe to keep heat away from the trans.

yea i had my whole front pipe wrapped too. don't knowif it helped but it made me feel better.

you guys should offer to do the wrap in house. it would be nice to have it done and ready for install when it arrives. just a suggestion. no extra parts to order and have laying around.

yea i said the same thing, but we just don't have the time to do it ya know.

sending out 150+ packages a day is already enough fun.

besides the wrap really isn't needed. it's not much closer to the firewall and dip stick than the stock one, and that gets hotter then this one ever will.

i need to do the laser temp test and see how much of a difference it really makes in the DP
