Hey everyone, a little background...
Not new to cars or engines at all, I've dismantled a few new 6.7 ford motors before, other than that mainly gas motors.
I'm looking at a 6.6 03, on local craigslist as a trade. Coming from owning a fleet of diesels, we've had mainly 7.3s - we bought ONE 6.0 and that was it for ford....
In 08 we bought one 5.9 and one 6.7, best trucks ever so far! (we also have one 2011, one 2012)
Our only duramax, was an 07 or 08, and it always had problems! The fuel rails, fuel pump, or injectors weren't working properly... everytime I stopped by the shop it was dead.
What should I look out for in the early model diesels?
