Any cheap 3-9x40 is good. Since .22s don't have any recoil cheap scopes work fine. I got a cheap bushnell on mine

What he said^ on the scope. You will love the gp100 i fell in love with one afew years ago but i already have a blackhawk .41mag so no gp100 for me for a little while

thats what I Was thinking. the local shop has a bushnell on the shelf. i'll have to go back and see which one it is.
the gp feels nose heavy to me and is much heavier than a smith 686. but its not hard on the hands. need to site it in though. first round hit the dirt about 8 feet short of the target lol

I have the gp 100 357 I shoot competition pistol with it and they r beautiful to shoot.

.22s are the way to go if you want to become a good shot without wasting a ton of money. I love my S&W A22!
