The install worked, the drivers seemed to load. I can launch the application, but when I go to download my stock ECM cal, it just sits there and does not advance after 10 minutes.

Here is a webpage with images from my "tries" at downloading the stock tune.
I would like to get it out, so I can give it to Pat to rework for my truck pull tomorrow!

that's a tough one. It looks like you are doing everything right. I guess make sure all the usual things are checked: Battery's up, ignition in the 2nd position, etc...

Did you try pm'ing Paul or Ross about this?

Not yet. I was hoping it was a user error (as I'm a EFI Live newby) and didn't want to bother them with something simple. If others can not help I will definitely contact them. I'm going to also try the newest release and see if that helps (I did not have internet connectivity last night to download the latest version).

Another question.
When you click the read button, does the Status button come up with a ? or a check? I have to hit check status in order to get the check mark and was wondering if that was normal.

Also might make sure that the V2 will power up when just plugged into the truck by itself and not connected to the laptop. If not, check the cig fuse under the hood for being blown.

i always check satus before flashing

also try unchecking the high seed

as cobra said make sure you have power to the V2 without it being plugged into the computer

pull the info and the radio fuse

I updated the firmware and software with no luck.

I then tried a different USB port and that worked. I remember Guy and or Pat had that issue a while back as well. Hopefully that is all that was wrong.

some after market stereo's, Sirius Satallite, etc..... requires pulling fuses to work, I had the same issue until I pulled the same fuses that PPE recommended, I then narrowed it down to the one 10amp fuse that controls the stereo. You'll know you got the right fuse when the door chime quits dinging. I have since wired a switch to the fuse to disable it for flashing.

You also might make sure your cig. light fuse isnt burned up.

Some USB ports are just not happy little campers. :(
