Mori Seiki NT4250. 9 axis Mill/Turn. We love them, this is the 4th addition. We have 2 that are on full automation with fanuc robots. Parts that use to require a dual spindle lathe and 4 axis mill are now done on a single machine. The part to part time also went from 60 minutes down to 12 minutes for one version and 15 minutes for the other version. So a huge time savings. Plus robots and probes dont screw up and put parts in backwards:D

Mori Seiki??? Is this the one in Davis, CA?

If so, i (the company i work at) installed all if there epoxy floors out there. Lots of neet fancy multi million dollar equipment at that site. Temperature control to within something like 1/2 degree from ground level to the 50 ft ceilings. Pallet jacks that ride on air, huge CNC lathes & mills, etc all to house equipment that makes equipment that makes things. Really cool place to see

They make some equipment there, I think smaller stuff. This machine was built in Japan.

Japanese machine tool builders are absolute perfectionist.

Jon, it's all Mori. We have a dmg/Mori NTX2000, it's the same machine, just less casting and horsepower as compared to the Mori NT model.
