I'm shure this has been discussed before, sorry but I'm looking at a new intercooler, Spearco seems to be popular, but reading Banks adds, I know, I know, there's seems to be better all around, they are also less money, which worries me. Any experience with a Banks or BD? It seems most have Spearco but I don't know if they are really better. Thanks

Banks intercooler test in all the mags is alittle skewed, BD would have been right there or beat them if aftermarket boost tubes had been used instead of the stock ones.

BD if you can get them to call you back:rolleyes: If not Spearco/PPE or Banks are both pretty well built intercoolers assuming your not running 100lbs of boost anyways:)

I'm in the market for an aftermarket intercooler, seeing how this thread is a couple years old just asking if BD is still the way to go.
Anyone have problems with durability?

I have the CG&J "high performance" intercooler. It is really thick, I think 2.8"?? No complaints, it is a really nice quality piece. It replaced my factory one that had a huge leak in it, so whether it really did anything, I cant say...but it certainly didnt hurt.

CG&J is probably the best for the dollar out there, bar none. Stay away from the Spearco ones. They will crack on you sooner or later but it will happen.
