Help: new intercooler less boost

Hey guys i just replaced my intercooler with one of scotts at sdp due to the stock one leting go. Before the install it was making 53 psi with a cracked cooler now it is making 49 psi with the new cooler i checked my system and their is no leaks any ideas.

where are you reading boost? Pre or post intercooler? Could be just less restriction:thumb:

A drop in pressure reading post intercooler is gennerally due to a more effiecient heat rejection. The more heat rejected the more the charge condenses and the pressure goes down, however the power remains the same or increases some.
