just changed my injectors the other day, once we finished it the truck started right up, no smoke smooth as can be ( this was in a heated shop). took the truck home and it sat over night, went to start in the next morning( its 7 degrees here) truck started right up but put out a good amount of white smoke and idled rough, did this for about 4 mins then every thing cleared up. no smoke, smooth running. same thing happened this morning, any thoughts? im working on getting a scanner to see what codes are present, but has anyone experienced this?

also it seems there is smoke/slash steam, a good amount that seems to be coming from the bottom of the engine near the crank pulley

Are they stock gm injectors? Reason I say that is I did a set (industrial injection) and the nozzle was loose from new and diesel fuel was getting In the oil and doing similar things

Sorta, seems to be acting normal now, still visable venting from the crankcase vent but im guessing its because of the cold weather

Mine Let out a lot of white smoke on cold starts, noticably loud fuel knock when cold, and sounded nasty starting up. All these symptoms went away after i got about 5k on them.

I finally was able to tear it apart, the injector washer fell off on the driver side rear injector, it was sitting under the hold down, runs like brand new and seems more peppy
