Just signed up. I got tired of all the same crap over the Duramax Forum. Admins are becoming gay as hell and everybody is whining about the same crap over and over. Seems like none of them know how to use a search..

I'm hoping this site is better and more useful.

Where ya from?

This site is way better and way more useful than any of the other diesel sites. Lots of talented and skilled people on here. Give us a little more detail of your truck in your sig so we can help you more (when the time comes).

And most importantly . . . have fun!

Arizona. Originally from MA. I moved to AZ in 07. Its a white truck by the way :D. I just like to keep it simple ya know. If you're curious, its a 06 LLY on a killerwhore tuning, custom made lift pump by me, and all stock internal and stock intake, even running a cat on. Just a transgo JR on the 6 speed. It definitely needs a tranny rebuild. Last time it was dyno'd at 480 hp... now it's a bit more with a new tune in it.

lol I'm glad you told me it was white. Looks like you've done a little tweaking and tuning. Well, again welcome and have fun!

Just the basics. Its just a tune and a lift pump on it so far. And a transgo Jr in the 6 speed ally. Got the boost and pyro gauges. Still running the stock intake, not planning to get an aftermarket because my goal is to show people that you can push 500 rwhp on a stock tranny and cat with a stock intake on a budget. Although I know that is pushing it but some people don't hammer it everyday, I drive mine easy 95% of the time and never go past 25% throttle and usually keep it under 2k rpms accelerating.

I do not own my EFI setup yet..... I want to get my own EFI and dsp5 switch someday. Right now it will not work since I'm still paying for my bills and gotta save up for a wedding next year.

Hope you can get EFI and dsp5 before the wedding. Got my truck new in 02 and had first kid in 04. Haven't been able to play much since then.

We did this on Wendy 3 years ago :D Made it to 525 rwhp before it limped on the dyno. But, once it limps it just limps easier and easier ever time. I got a built trans for Christmas.. ha ha ha

There are several people running 12's on a stock tranny with a Transgo Jr. Though most have had to replace there conv. then their clutchs;)

Nice! I just limped mine today. It is around 500 hp or so and it is running on 35" tall tires. It does definitely get easier to limp after the first one. It's limped on me 4 times in a row since the day I bought it in Aug 08. Not bad I guess.

I'm already enjoying this site 10x more than the DF. Nothing is the same everyday compared to the DF, that's for sure.
