Hello, Just joined the forum the other day, i have been researching duramaxes for a while and am going to pick up an 05 lly with about 60k on monday. Just wanted to say hi, and thanks for all the info in advance.

I know that you are supposed to have 25 posts to get a vin check, but is there anyway to get it before I get the truck? I would have a few more posts, but I just found this forum, I have been on duramax forum and diesel place, and while seaching on one of those, I found this forum. Seems to be a good place for info and helpful people. :thumb:

Just make a thread that titled Vin Check or something simple like that. Post your vin.

It usually takes a few days to get it done, so post it as soon as you can :thumb:

I am so stoked to get a new truck, I am still on my first truck that I had in high school, I have been wanting to get a diesel for a couple years now, but just didn't have the funds. I looked at a few cummins, but then found a good deal on this duramax. After researching the dmax, I think that I am making a good decision. All of my budding have pumped up cummins, so I will be the only gm guy.
