I'm from TN, but just moved to San Diego. I have a 2005 2500HD lly. It has EFI live with a DSP5 switch, lift pump,4" turbo back with twin 5" miter cuts, AFE intake, 18x9 eagle alloys with 325/60R18's, tie rod sleeves, 2" drop shackles, spring clamps, and a dvd player in dash. I have a custom sheet metal mouthpiece on the way, and then a built trans and some bigger tunes. Heres a pic from the strip, and if you wanna know anything just ask.

Heres a pic. My clamps raised it back up an inch, so drop it 3" to level it out completly with the t-bars dropped all the way. My rear is still about an inch high after the clamps, was perfect without them, and my t-bars are all the way out. They started calling my truck Epileptic because of the way it sounds on lope tune. Hey tony the wifes gone, come have a beer man and we'll install your clamps. Mine took about 30 seconds.

I'm talking to a guy right now about trading my rims and tires for his which are 16x10's with M&H cheater slicks. I also have a custom sheetmetal turbo mouthpiece coming soon. This sat. I'm going to Barona and shooting for 1.7* 60 ft times

They were called lift clamps and offered 1" of lift. I don't know, but I measured before and after and it did raise almost a full inch from the clamps.

Yeah it was me :happy2: I was trying to figure out who you were, nobody in Socal Diesel club knew the truck. Your truck sounded good, and the wife got a thrill out of running with you. Your truck runs good.

My thoughts are that with clamps the truck can't compress the springs as far so it sits higher

My thoughts are the opposite. The overload springs are stronger than the rest of the pack. Since the overload is the strongest it will win out over the other leafs and it will be the one that stays the straightest, while the others are pulled down. Thus lowering the truck.

Heck both of us could be wrong, is that even possible? :spit:
