So I decided to join first to get some insight, second to be able to learn from some of the best! I just bought a 06 lbz cc/sb 4wd sporting a built engine and trans! What I was told is as follows lbz 40 over cut pistons so cal stage 2 heads,cam,stage 2 single cp3 egr delete, aurora 3000,4" turbo back,fass pump!
Extra parts 2.6 holset charger fresh
Borg Warner s480 great shape
Scs axles locker for the rear
All stock parts that were removed!

Plans under way 8" fabtech lift
20x12 chrome hostage wheels
36 15.50 20 tires
55 over injectors

With this setup what charger should I go with for a daily driver but wanting to be a strong as possible while still being able to dial the dsp5 back and letting the wife get the kids attention in town?

I would have to be able to detune it for the wife as she's not the best driver, she can now only have supervised visits with the chevelle, may have seen talladaga nights too many times!!

Thanks,i would rather not put a stock charger back on it so what charger should i use with the S480? Sorry for the questions but i have no experiance with anything above stock parts!

Talk to Trent as we would need to know more info what is the goal of the truck how much HP do you want?

Trent would be much better at this than I.

Thanks,It will be a DD but want to make the local cummins drivers wish they would have purchased a dmax.:D:woott:

8" lifts & intimidating even mediocre Dodges in your area isn't going to be easy.


I'd go twins if I were you.

Yes it's genes old truck, he gave me a price I couldn't pass on! I'm not going to pull or race it just want a hot street truck with good looks to match! I would like to be around 650 to 700 hp! I've talked with mark at Danville diesel he says we shouldn't have any problems making that!
