Most of you don't know me, and some of you might not like the truck.....but I did a slight makeover and wanted to share

Yeah...after all the installation of the grille/steps/then washing, it got late. I'll try to get some better ones tonight.

It is a BFXenon grille. I'm getting a custom logo put on it too....probably in the lower right corner. A lot of people told me to get a chrome frame and black mesh, but I like the "black out" look.....easier to keep clean! It's just finally nice to have a truck that doesn't look like everyone elses around the "toona" area.

nice looking truck man ! and i love the big mouth grills , i am still trying to find one for my truck . might have to end up running a 1/2 ton grill and build a filler panel for between the bumper and grill . once again good job the truck looks real sharp !

Amen to that.....I looked for about 2 years for a big mouth for my truck and only found RBP for the low price of $1,400.00.....and I wasn't paying that much for a grille. So needless to say, I'm stoked!

And the thing that peved me the most was, companies make em for GMC's, Fords, Toyotas, Nissans, etc..... but only Putco and RBP made them for the chevys...and now Putco discontinued theirs, and as stated before, I didn't want to dish out my life savings.

It's in my garage right now. I'm not sure whether I'm going to keep it or sell it. I'm not sure how much they even go for. I got those Stainless Steel inserts in it too...and a blacked out bowtie.

ahh, yea i remember. well whole around $100 but you took off the outside bars so i'd say more like $50-75. those pieces under the headlights are dealer only items. let me know if you decide to sell it.:hello:

HA...it's kinda funny. At first I kept thinking, wow.....I know a guy who has a truck like that and looks just like you...and his name is Kyle. And then my brain kicked in! HA. It's been a long couple weeks....my eyes need checked.

Sorry not a fan of the grille.

The overall truck looks awesome though...debadged, cowl hood, headlights, bars and wheels are very nice.

What kind of headlights are those?

You mentioned "toona"...wouldn't be Altoona would it?

HA HA....Heck yes Altoona PA. I just noticed you were from Central PA...what part? And I bought the headlights from Keystone Auto next to Kettle Street in Altoona...not sure of the brand...just wanted headlights that had individually adjusted bulbs...I don't even have that halo crap hooked up.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to look for the lights. I think they would look good on my black truck...especially if my black and chrome wheels ever come in.

I'm about an hour west of Harrisburg...rural area, no big towns to mention.

So are you closer to Mount Union or Shippensburg? We go camping in Mount Union/Newton Hamilton along the Juniata river. And my family lives in Camp Hill...
