Yesterday I brought home a used 2013 with 7900 miles on it; drove it back home from the dealer 230 miles away. I've wanted a Duramax for at least ten years as I've been pulling 24ft. enclosed car haulers with 5.4 F250s.
I've been lurking on this and other brand diesel truck forums for a number of months/years, plus doing other research, and decided the Duramax is #1, followed by Dodge #2, and Ford #5 (dk who is 3rd and 4th?).
I'm 69 years old so mine will stay bone stock and I just plan to maintain it, use it, and enjoy it.
You've got a great forum here with a lot of knowledge on it.
