I've been signed up on here for a few weeks now, this is actually my first post on here. Been doing a lot of reading and browsing on here. Seeing a lot of good info on here and noticed quite a few knowledgeable members on here as well.
I'm front western South Dakota; live, work, and grew up on the family farm and ranch. I'm the third generation of the three of us on our farm still going at it. I just got myself into my first diesel 3 and a half weeks ago. Been wanting to get into one for a while now. In my area I got numerous friends with modded LB7s, LLYs, and LBZs; even one with a new LML. I'm the first one in my family to own a diesel, my father wants to get a new LML soon.
What I got is a 03 Silverado LB7 with 167k on the clock. Picked it up for a good price. Has/had a very good service history behind it. Last owner put on around 130k miles on it and actually traded it for a half ton truck. I've been slowly gathering parts and accessories for it. Plan is to keep it simple yet elegant as this is my farm/ranch work vehicle so to say. Onto some pictures...
Right after I drove it off the lot...
Doing some work...
While I'm here, and I'm probably going to break some sort of a religious Duramax code on here, but I want to share my other ride and my baby which is an '08 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 in it. I'll let the one picture speak for itself...
