Well, neither my face nor my Duramax are "new". They are just new to this forum.
I figured I would drop a line here to say hello. I just picked up my first Duramax today. It's a 2003 Silverado 2500HD RC/LB LS 4x4. I picked the truck up from a farmer who decided it was a good idea to use some fuzzy math in order to decide that a $13,000 truck was only a $1,200 piece of scrap just because it needs injectors, a bath, and a FICM (which he removed for his friend thinking it was the engine computer). Well, I'm okay with this bizarre math because I walked away $1,200 poorer and one LB7 richer.
This is my first Duramax. I am not, however, new to Duramaxes and diesel performance. I have been living vicariously through my brother David (DAVe3283 to you on here) and his 2003 LB7 (his build can be seen here http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40951). I've had the pleasure of being able to help with the build, which has allowed me to familiarize myself with the beautiful piece of engineering and design that is the Duramax.
Anyway, enough about "stuff". This is supposed to be me saying hi. So, to everybody who is bored or kind enough to come this way: Hello! I look forward to participating in this forum and hope to get to know your internet personalities better.
