I just got EFI live today. It says upgrade pending and then under that it says "before using this device select the flashscan V2 upgrade option on your pc" What is this ?? and how do i do it?

If it was shipped to you in upgrade pending mode, it's assuming you are upgrading from FlashScan V1 to FlashScan V2 and is waiting for the information from the V1 to be transferred to the V2.
If you are not upgrading, you'll need to contact the vendor who you purchased the V2 from to get the activation code to remove the unit from upgrade mode.
