Just picked up my 2005 Silverado yesterday. CC/SB. This will be my daily driver during the week and camper tow vehicle on weekends. Any recommendations on how to make it better....more mpg, and still dependable for a long time? Also, what tire pressure are you running? The 80psi seems like a really rough ride when unloaded. Thanks.:D

Pretty much a tuner will be the option to improve MPG. Turboback exhaust can help a bit and air intake i so no help. For air intake just do the PPE air box mod. Search for that on PPE website. I think the LLY has the same box as LBZ and LMM. Keep the tune power low or if you have it turned up watch wide open throttle upper gear up and down shifts. Can easily glaze transmission clutch packs in the upper gears.
