This is the same truck I bought new in'89 Black GMC CC LB dually loaded !!!

1941 WC, sat for 29 yrs, started and dynoed 27h.p.

Welcome, I bet there was quite a price difference from 89-09.

25-60, both were loaded, '09 can get twice the mpg. I did get a 4 speed back then, I was young and figured if I was wasting gas, I was going to control it. My cap is supposed to be in this week. The 89 did have a front bench seat for things my older wife doesn't see a need for anymore.
My 89 did not have the DVD lock out feature either. When I drove home on second shift I could sit my TV on a couple books and watch the late movie as a heads up display reflection in windshield.

I finally got my cap(after 4 weeks), ARE, the only one that fits correctly.
I had several issues/complaints with ARE for which they were of no help, their email before the purchase was in excusable.:argh:
My ARE dealer Cruiser's in Xenia,Ohio went the extra to make up for factory short comings.:tu: I did get a new Dodge roof rack from cruiser's for $100. that I wanted to put on the cap to break up the flat profile.
