I'm in the Air Force as an HH-60 Crew Chief. I'm married to a wonderful woman who loves diesel smoke. This is my first diesel truck.

When you got the truck did you get the EFILive handheld too? or just a tune?

Or is it a locked ECM from a Tuner?

I got the tunes programmed by a guy who tunes in the area. I actually work with him. No handheld though. I thought about investing in one but I have NO idea what I'm doing.

I'm in Valdosta btw.

I didnt know where to put this and I didnt want to start a new thread in a random place so I'll just ask on here. Anyone from GA/AL/FL etc hear anything about S and S automotive and diesel? It's in Valdosta GA. I have a friend down here who says they are good but I didnt know if there was any other input. I went by today and they sell Airdog, diablosport, ARP, and a bunch of other stuff. (This is according to their stickers on the window...) I'm thinking about just having them do my exhaust install and maybe airdog when I get it. I'm going to let my tuner keep tuning my truck (he evidently learned from idahorob?!?!?) Anyways, any idea on this shop?

The good news is that they have a duramax, a cummins, and a powerstroke in the yard. Plus they have several very nice classics out back, so I have some hope.

The reason I'm willing to take a chance is because the closest other shop is Shiver Diesel in Tallahassee or all the way out to Suncoast. I'd love to go to Suncoast but the 4 hour trip may be a bit much.
