I proved that to much fuel is a bad thing. A little fuel out of of bottom end to keep the truck from bogging down, and a little less rail pressure with some mid to high rpm reduction in main pw and the truck ran .25 faster. Proof that reviewing logs is important and actually helps.

I would have a kill story but none of the ricers that followed me to the track would race me, had to play with mustangs and a fairlane. It's nice to run cars that match you, when I got beat it was on a hole shot with an e/t matching to the .01.

Time for Cal Tracs.

Thanks Kat.

Tonight I tried to work on launches with the help of the Fairlane. We consistantly put down the same E/T's, and it's kind of intimidating to me for some reason. I tend to mess it up when I line up with him, so I tried a little harder. He helped me cut a 1.96, then a 1.87, then the 1.78 60' times. Put me a fender closer to the finish line.

I got a couple 'hey you gotta bully dawg in dat thang?'s tonight..

that was with the stocker.

I want another aftermarket one, but that takes that green stuff we never have enough of. I am thinking about a cp3 too, simply on the idea that a whole bunch of air isnt worth spit if you cant keep the rail pressure up where you want it. It looks like I may have a head gasket oil leak, so if the heads have to come off might as well do a set of injectors too... and while the top of the motor is apart I might as well route a dedicated fuel supply line to the cp3...... and thus begins the $13K turbo install.....

Wow, like Kat said, really impressive 60ft in a 2wd, especially without Cal Tracs too! You running drag radials?

Thats ok...I always had 2.*** sec r/t with my buick (waiting for boost and couldnt bump up to the lights with a trans brake...fixed with a 9" converter:D)....boost is a beautiful thing....besides its more fun chasing down a slow car than running in front:D
