Went to Eddyville last night and ran the truck. Ran a 8.16 @ 84.02 mph with a 1.785 60ft. There was a solid 25-30 mph cross wind and the denity altitude was 3338ft and 90.59% realitve density(love the da calculator on here) leaving at around 5 psi of boost at that time. Same weight reductions as last year just tail gate and spare out. After looking at my logs everytime I go over 5-6 psi of boost my tps is showing it in the brake torque management while building boost. This explains why when I tried to leave harder my 60ft went slower as did my truck. The conditions got better after awhile but my times didn't because of this. Do you guys with lbz's tune this out by changing the tables on the brake torque managment? I'm sure you can change it within the fueling of the tune to make it boost easier but not what I'm wanting to do. I have a video on my nephews phone of the run and after take off it burns clean as in no smoke so I can use more fuel after I get this fixed. Gonna try and go back in a week or so. Still happy with the way the truck runs just want to see how hard I can leave to better my 60ft's.
