McRat - This thread was temporarily moved so it could be "cleaned up", mostly for off-topic and a few body-slams.

"New Product Announcements" are permitted by non-vendors as long as they do not contain prices and direct sales contact. We need to balance out what is considering spamming by non-vendors but also need to tell Dmax Hotrodders what kind of parts are out there.

There was a heated debate about whether you should remove the engine or trans without unbolting the converter first. Someone should start a separate thread. On my trucks, the converter is ALWAYS unbolted beforehand with good results, and I believe that's the safest way to go. But that is a different topic.

Keep it civil, and on-topic please. There are approved vendors on this site that sell ATS stuff, and you should contact them for pricing and delivery
.

I am proud to say i am the first guy with the ATS cast manifolds and 2" up-pipes which have had ALOT of time and testing put into them. These were put on a flow bench for optimum flow and tested on Clints 1,200hp Hazmax (75psi) for a few months before a set were released to me. Although they are not fully available to the public yet they will be soon:D

I drove the truck today and it frickin rips! New stage 2 heads from guy, looser converter, manifolds, 4" intake and a few other goodies...... man, it feels way way stronger from when i put the 753hp run down. Ill be at the track next weekend in albuquerque NM.

just wondering why are they cast? are they ported stockers? i dont see how they could be an advantage over some custom built manifolds...

No, not ported stockers. These were built from scratch. These are custom built.

Cast holds heat better for better spool.

Cast will last longer than steel over time.

Cast material will take more heat before cracking/breaks down.

These were put on a flow bench too:D

.... Now, the ATS manifolds kick a$$ and i did like ricks headers too! I wanted to be the first with them and i always wanted cast!!!! The truck runs so much better with the T4 set up, looser converter, Trippin stage 2 heads, 4" intake and other little add ons. It will deffinately make over 800 hp on fuel. Ill have the results soon.

What were the flowbench numbers compared to stock?

I believe I can get these from ATS when available as I think I'm still a dealer. Let me know.

I know there is probably no point in running these without bigger up-pipes but could they be bolted to stock up-pipes in the event of a bellows failure?

I called ATS today. I spoke to two guys and he told me that they saw a Drive pressure drop of 2 PSI and anywhere from 50-125 degrees drop in EGTs. I was also told these will be release for sale to the public next week but they will be available for orders to dealers as of Wednesday. I wasn't told the price but since it says no prices i will not say. But lets just say they are near the same as ProFab's uncoated cast manifolds. Flow ratings were not available at the time i called. I hope some of this information helps. I believe once i get my tranny built these manifolds and up pipes will be my next purchase. I am ready to here feedback from the people who purchase them! :happy2:

PS. I am in no way affiliated with any of these companies or vendors just stating the facts i was told.

Thanks for the info Jonathan.:thumb: Flow numbers would be interesting to see. Hopefully ATS can provide them some time.

They look nice and should hold up well
Is there a way to bolt the heat shield on?

Thank Jonathan

Is that a typo or did they actually tell you they noticed 2 psi difference:rofl:

I swear they said 2 psi which isn't much considering that many peoples drive pressures can reach 2 to 1. But i might have misunderstood his explanation. My bad. Lol

Stock lly will reach as high as 3 to 1 for a breif period

If they noticed 2 psi difference.....Well that just makes me laugh:D
