Hi All,

Well we have been pretty busy lately rebuilding many of the underlying parts of EFILive V7, one of them was the reconfiguration of the Bi-Directional controls. It's been totally rewritten so we can now add full bi-di controls for all controllers.

Below is some screen shots of what the bi-di control panel looks like now for the LLY. The plan is to include pretty much ALL TechII bi-di functionality for the Duramax and Allison, lots of work ahead.....
Also, the scanner has been reconfigured to allow bi-di control without slowing the logging speeds down.

Cheers,
Ross

P.S - The LMM flash bug has been fixed too, Paul will post an update within a couple of days.

LOL, figured the goons would reply as such.

"why?"

"pull the relay"

:violent::D

What do they think we HAVE been doing??? :D

I unplug the supply line to the glow plug controller.

But since they had Glow Plug Relay, which I can't imagine a use for, I thought disabling would be just as simple.

The ECM controls the GPCM, Im almost positive ive seen a function to disable it with the tech 2.

LB7's just have a simple heavy duty relay. LLY's and up have an actual "control module" with its own computer. It talks to the ECM only over the J1939 high speed data bus. (or high speed gmlan on the LBZ's and LMM's)
