New additions to the site

[Poltergeist]

Obviously we are now running the latest version of vBulletin but this version has added a few new things.

1. You can now have your own picture album here. The only requirement is that you have at least 10 post here. PM the one of the admins or moderators to get this added to your ability. Here is an example:

2. You now have an expanded Profile page that has links to friends that you can add, show your albums, shows friends added to your list etc. Here is an example.

3. Attachments now open in a 'Lightbox' instead of a separate page that you need to close. When the light box is open you can click on the picture to open it full size in a separate window. I have added an attachment for you to try it on.

4. DuramaxDiesels.com is now on it's own IP address away from the McRatRacing.com. So now we have our homepage. www.duramaxdiesels.com over the next few weeks I'll be adding more content to it. But what this means is if you used www.mcratracing.com/forum to get here before it now not work for you. You will need to update your bookmark for here.

There's more but I still have work to do on the site and will add more here later as I remember the 'new stuff'.

You have to request from someone to be able to add them. Since it's a new feature and I'm still doing things to the site I haven't had time.

My goof. It is part of the customization of the site. It was only showing up in the default style but I was the Black/Grey style and it wasn't showing there. Fixed now.

when i went to yours though, thumbnails didnt work- all i saw were grey rectangles with the name of the picture in them...

Thanks for letting me know. I had to change a setting due to moving the pictures from the database to where they stored directly on the hard drive but had a problem with having a / where I shouldn't have had one.


Please keep letting me know about problems.
