This turbo started as a Garrett GT 4202 We clipped the wheel and machined the plug for the wheel to insert 1/8" into the plug (per the scheid rules) the plug is tig welded on the cover in 3 places but can be removed without damage. It has never been ran we went with the gtx 42 instead. I have the 1.01 housing and the 1.15 housing you choose witch housing you want.

Yes It made 760hp 1290 tq with 45% lb7

If it was tuned for a stock motor it would work fine. The thing about The 4202 is that 600 hp is exactly in the center of the effeciency islands of the compressor map. This means the turbo will make better ( more effecient) power at lower intake temps which means lower egts.

I might be interested in this. Can you tell me if it will fit some rules first thought? I'm not very good with turbos and spec's. I have a 4094 now,would this work better for me?

yes! The compressor flow is about 15 lbs per min more. which will be aroud 100hp. and the turbine flow is also aroud 15 lbs per min more, this is where lots of power is gained by opening up flow at higher rpm.

what is the wheel size ,not the 66mm clipped portion,what would it be if it wasnt clipped and the insert removed.
