New 1 1/2 Dia SS Center Links (limited run)

super diesel

<<<< Under Pressure
Ok guys, I got a small supply of 1 1/2" Dia SS for some extremly tough Center Links. The standards are 1 3/8" Dia. I'm going to set up taking orders and it will be a first come thing. These will have the pullers with them as the others come with them too. These will be limited in quantity at this price, so if your thinking of it for summer, this is the time. The price will be set at $300 ($309 w/P.P.). These will be the biggest and baddest out there. PM me if your interested.

i have wondered this for a while ...... Why Stainless Steel and not ChroMolly ?

if i recall they both have close to the same tensile strengths but CM is a lot more rigged (and less expensive than ss)

I'm not aiming to speak for Michael here but I'd venture a guess that the SS is strong enough for the application AND withstands the elements. I know there's some forces working on the bar but surely they aren't as severe as say those on a traction bar on the rear axle where it IS common place to use chromoly?

Just rambling really. Wishing I could afford to commit to getting one of these but I can't right now. :(

is it just a striaght piece of 1 1/2 ss? or is already tapped on the end and drilled for the pitman and idler arm?

I think I can speak for Michael here...........his bar is straight. It eliminates the 2" offset on each end of the stocker............which moves the point-of-connection for the inner tie-rod end.(increasing the angle slightly)
This is what causes the decrease in turning radius..........I think.
As Travis said, everything is milled to fit. These are slightly larger in diameter than his previous centerlink...........in an effort to stand up to the worst rigors we can throw at them!
Monster parts for monster power!;)

My guess is that by the time we see pics of these.............the first run will be gone!
However, I think they will look identical to the previous 1-3/8" other than diameter.

These will be ready this weekend. I'm so sorry for the delay (at the mercy of others here in CO). These are completed and ready for the install. This is the largest that can be made to fit under there. Also, I use SS because CM can act like an anode for the other parts since were mixing and matching in a harsh environment. Also, no problems in the future with the parts being difficult to remove because of rust and corrosion like other plated or outside coated parts that can wear through and promote this situation.

Thanks goes out to eds04max for helping me get this off the ground and getting my butt in gear.
