I have not 4wd launched my truck since I dropped her another 2" in front. I have pics of the angles. There pretty negative. Will I ok or is it just as bad as having them cranked up?http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...E-A37E-018B6BAD6354-1536-0000003E19FF9A8C.jpg

Thanks. I mean they were a little negative when the stock keys were in all the way bottomed out. Never had issues. But I am 2" lower up front now. 3" drop keys half way down.

Good question! My CVs are perfectly level as they sit right now but I am wanting to drop my stock keys all the way down and whatever to make the rear match!

Usually if you do 3" drop shackles and djm hangers set at 2" then stock keys all the way down bolts out. You'll be pretty much completely level. Or just 3" shackles and overloads removed with stock hangers.

Sorry I don't have any front shots of my LBZ when it had a 4/6, but they CV's were so negative I had to add 1/2" lift CV spacers. 285-50-20's with 2" fender to tire clearance on front. Still miss that truck.

I have 2.5" space from tire to bottom of fender. But I also run 305/50's. going to a 285/50 once these wear out. Feels good to know I don't have to put this truck through another winter. Got an little Jetta 1.8t to rip lol. I love your truck Brian. I mean YOUR OLD truck.....smh the single cab is sick though.

sounds like the drop hangers is next on the list, what i'm gonna do next

Edit: oh you said half inch i cant read, thought it said 1 1/2 inch :(

I wish I could order drop hangers and go ahead with them but then my caltracs wont work with them

Debating sellling the caltracs and going with long bars anyways tho...

I have a friend that has an 05 dropped about like yours, he snapped his cv at the track a few weeks ago on his first run. You may be ok but I've seen first hand what can happen if thay are too low. I figured his would rise too and it did, right after the cv snapped.

Got a great deal on my 66/80 gmc that I bought. Sold that truck for my single cab lol. For you long bed guys, cal tracs will work with the djm drop hangers.
