Help: need you mikey!

as you may or may not know i have swapped a dodge cummins engine/OD trans in to my 1989 chevy from a 92 D250 truck, anywho, i need to know wich wires (colors) to hook to what to make the Over Drive come on, i know what plug it is, just need to know what does who. thanks!

Have you tried the Dodge boards yet??? They are intimately familiar with their transmissions.

Orange/ lt Green wire at trans goes to ECM at pin # 55 to activate O/D.

It even works on a 5 cylinder Cummings.

does it makes a difference what one gets power or ground? that's the main question as i am looking to just hot wire a switch to this since there in NO ecm/pcm to control this anymore! thanks

update...okay, i wired in a toggle switch to power(hot+) the bigger of the two wires coming from the top plug in the trans, and the O/D still does not activate, but id did work fine in the dodge...any ideas? thanks ~jeff
