Well I think I have an injector going or maybe it's something else
Occasionally I get an injector knock and most mornings my truck will
Idle fine but when you go to accelerate it misses smokes for a second
Then clears out and runs fine. I have no injector codes. I do show a
Low voltage code for the boost position sensor

I checked balance rate here's what I got

Neutral Drive

1. -.9. -.4
2. 2.1. 2.5
3. -1.0. -.9
4. -2.3. -2.7
5. -1.8. -2.3
6. -.1. 0
7. .2. .4
8. 3.2. 3

Need more info. What year truck? Any tuner? Code number as well. There is no "boost position sensor" so was it a map code (reads boost pressure) or a vgt turbo code? what color smoke?
Unfortunately there is no definite way to pinpoint a random fuel knock. It will have to get worse.

05 lly. Junk hypertech. And an edge insight to read gauges and codes

Smoke is white/gray.

Code is turbo boost control position sensor (low voltage)

Just guessing thats the edge description for the turbo vein position sensor. Could be a bad sensor or wiring issue. I think you are facing two different issues. Both the vgt position sensor problem and injector(s)

I had the same problem on one of my injectors on my LB7, the injector was stuck open. I replaced all the injectors on both sides since I pulled the valve covers. There is a good YouTube video of a guy whole pulled the glow plug to the suspected injector that was giving him problems and there was fuel on the tip of the plug.
