So I'm not real sure which area to put this in, but I need some advice. I'm wanting to either put a 3" leveling kit on my truck or a 4" suspension on my 2011 silverado 3500hd. I've heard good and bad things about the leveling kit. Can anyone give me a little more advice? Thanks.

4" lift any day of the week. A lift will keep good angles on your cv shafts and steering components and let you retain the smooth factory ride. A leveling kit is the opposite of that since it doesn't drop any of the control arms or differential, it gives you bad angles and stiffens the ride. Obviously a leveling kit is much cheaper but if you're looking to do it right a lift is the way to go

X2 on the lifts. A leveling kit is just a torsion bar key clocked at a angle that will put more pressure on torsion bars to get more lift without cranking on the bolt as much. Rides horrible.
