Need some help

So this past week this has happened twice. When I go to start my truck in the morning an it runs for about 3 seconds then shuts off. Before I looked for anything I went under the hood and pumped my fuel filter up an it starts an runs fine. It also runs out of diesel before the light or E comes on. Any ideas on what it could be?

you might need to rebuild your primer on the filter head!

Yes sir deffinately . Now when you pumped the primer was it hard to press or real easy?

real easy for about 10 pumps then got tough like when you run out of diesel

Yup IMO thats your prob,Not your fpr. My cuz is having the same prob.

Park nose down hill and I bet your truck will start just fine. My truck does the same thing so I just back in my driveway, I'm too lazy to fix it lol.

so i installed the rebuild kit and it did it about 3 days after when my truck was level an drove around all day, let it sit fr an hour an started it then it shut off. pumped it back up an ran fine
